Description

The ASIIE Wi-Fi kit consists of the following items

1. Wi-Fi Adapter
2. Wi-Fi Adapter Antenna
3. A 3 foot cable (1 m) with a RJ45 Connector on one side and a RJ9 Connector on the other end
4. Access to the ASIIE Android App
5. Access to the ASIIE app documentation
6. Access to the Wi-Fi Adapter installation documentation

Android Device Requirements:

1. Android Version must be one of the following: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
2. Device must have a built-in GPS receiver. Getting location from Service Provider will not work.
3. Location Service is enabled while using the ASIIE app.

Mount Requirements:

The ASIIE app is a replacement for failing ASII/ASIII hand controller and provides WiFi control of your mount. It behaves almost identical to the OEM hand controller.

1. Meade mount utilizes the AUTOSTAR II/III hand controller
2. Mount is operational with no issues
3. HBX port is operational:
   1. Some customers have failed HBX ports which renders the ASII hand controller non-operational and the ASIIE app will not work either.

In an effort to expedite the fulfillment process of your order, you must provide the Email address you are planning on using (Sign Up/In) with the ASIIE app during the Checkout process under Additional Information. We will use the provided email address to configure your kit and create the Google Cloud account required by the ASIIE app. Providing the wrong email address or an email address that you do not have access to, will result in an Authentication error and the app will not run, requiring the return of the Kit for Reconfiguration & additional S&H expense.
