Description

An all encompassing kit for AUTOSTAR, AUDIOSTAR, AUTOSTAR II, & AUTOSTAR III  controlled MEADE telescopes.

The ASIIE/ASRCP Wi-Fi kit consists of the following items

1. Wi-Fi Adapter
2. Wi-Fi Adapter Antenna
3. A 3 foot cable (1 m) with a RJ45 Connector on one side and a RJ9 Connector on the other end (hbx port)
4. A 3 foot cable (1 m) with RJ45 connector on one side and an RJ11 connector on the other end (RS232 port)
5. A 3 foot Y-Cable (0.9 m) with RJ45 connector on one side and two connectors on the other end. A RJ11 connector to plug into the RS232  on the handheld controller and female 2.5 mm power connector for the Wi-Fi adapter.
6. A 28 inch ( 0.7 m) Y-Power adapter- One Female 2.5 mm Power Input Connector. Two Male 2.5 mm connectors, one to power the Wi-Fi Adapter and the other to power the telescope.

Android Device Requirements:

1. Android Version must be one of the following: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
2. Device must have a built-in GPS receiver. Getting location from Service Provider will not work.
3. Location Service is enabled while using the ASIIE app.

Mount Requirements:

1. Meade mount utilizes the AUTOSTAR II/III hand controller for the ASIIE application
2. Mount is operational with no issues
3. HBX port is operational for ASIIE:
   1. Some customers have failed HBX ports which renders the ASII hand controller non-operational and the ASIIE app will not work either.
4. RS232 port is operational for ASRCP:
   1. The RS232 port can be on the mount or on the AUTOSTAR Hand Controller.
