AUTOSTAR II EMULATOR

The ASIIE is an Android app that replaces a Failed and/or Failing MEADE® AUTOSTAR II hand controller. The app provides you the ability to Free yourself from the coiled Hand Controller and operate your telescope over using your Android device over Wi-Fi.

The ASIIE app provides identical functionality of the OEM hand controller with a lot more added features:

  • Wi-Fi control of your Telescope
  • Voice annunciation of display
  • Local Weather based on GPS location
    • Current Weather conditions
    • 12 hour forecast
  • Control of 8 channel Digital Controls Power Switch
    • Designate any of the 8 Channels for Power Up procedure
    • Designate any of the 8 Channels for Power Down procedure
    • Assign One Channel for Dew Heater
      • Turn on Channel based on Dew Point set point and current weather conditions
  • Display up to four Ip Cameras
  • Search the NGC Catalog on numerous criteria and graph the results
    • Display a color image with the same FOV of your image train
  • Offline Mode
    • Ability to utilize the app in remote locations with no internet connection.

The ASIIE app comes bundled with one of our Wi-Fi Kits.
